This year will be remembered as one that KIDA has initiated a set of groundbreaking changes in Korea Debate. During the first semester alone KIDA has launched weekly league debates, a full day workshop, Facebook groups, the official homepage, a number of publications including KIDA Talks and KNC Hosting Manual, a handful of social events such as LT, MT, and picnic. If KIDA were a person, he/she would have died of exhaustion. And this summer, KIDA launches yet another project: online KIDA Talks magazine.

KIDA Talks Online (hereafter referred to as Talks Online) will feature a wide array of articles that debaters will find highly interesting. From interviews of KNC Champions and internationally renowned debaters to bi-weekly updated columns on debate strategies and experiences, Talks Online will post high-quality debate-related articles. Readers of Talks Online will be exposed to not only the bigger Korea Debate scene but also the international debate arena, seen through some of the most competitive and famous debaters of our time.

This year, KIDA has broken the silence and started ‘talking’ about debate. If you spend almost a full day a week and at least one weekend a month debating and fretting over lost debates, if you have risked your life for debate at least once in your life, if you are watching debate videos imagining yourself being able to speak like Logan or Victor Finkel, if you are longing for the next debate where you will prove how good of a debater you are, Talks Online is your playground, your next Favorite website, after your own Facebook page.
