Tournament Report:
Hong Kong Debate Open

Korea thrives! After Intramuros and ABP, Korea does it again in HKDO. Here is full result of the tournament, from the official website with Korean teams highlighted.
About the Tournament
The Hong Kong Debate Open – the first ever international university-level debating tournament in Hong Kong – was first held in 2010.  The brainchild of the swashbuckling debating guru Loke Wing Fatt, it was designed to be an annual event that would transform the Hong Kong debating circuit and turn the city’s university students from mere ‘debate consumers’ into organizers and pioneers. This year marks the 3rd edition of the event, which will be proudly hosted by the University of Hong Kong. The event will continue to benefit from the auspices of Mr. Loke and his professional team at the Society of Associated Inter-Tertiary Debaters (SAID), which is dedicated to the mission of spreading the debating spirit.
Date: 2 – 4 November 2012
Venue: The University of Hong Kong
Format: British Parliamentary (7 minute speeches in all rounds)
